Local Moves

Reliable Man Movers knows that a local move can be an exciting, yet sometimes unsettling experience. However, with Reliable Man Movers by your side, there is nothing to it!  Reliable Man Movers would like to help you understand the way local moving charges are determined. We want to help you get an accurate estimate so there are no surprises on your move day. If you have any questions before, during, or after the estimate, don’t hesitate to give us a call.

We provide moving services throughout all of San Diego.

Rates

  • Local moves are billed hourly, per CA PUC regulations. Many factors determine the hourly bill rate of a local move such as the size of the moving crew, the number of trucks needed, specialized equipment required, etc. Please contact us to determine the rate for your specific move. No hidden fees!
  • 3-Hour minimum Monday thru Friday / 4-hour minimum on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Time used after the minimum is met is billed in 15-minute increments.
  • Rate includes double drive time which is the roundtrip time from your current residence to your new residence (regulated by the Public Utilities Commission).

Moving Hours
Jobs are typically booked either in the mornings (arrival between 8:00-8:30 a.m.) or in the afternoons (arrival between 1:00-3:00 p.m.).  For the afternoon moves, we call 30-45 minutes prior to arrival to let you know we’re en route. However, if you have a specific time in mind, let us know and we can determine if we can accommodate your request.
